After working at Macy’s and eBay, Daniel joined Red Points to lead the company’s strategic partnership with ecommerce platforms, websites, IP firms and other stakeholders. Daniel was a Senior Manager of Brand Protection at eBay, where he led international teams in the disruption of counterfeits worldwide.

Daniel foi gerente sênior de proteção de marca no eBay, onde liderou equipes internacionais na eliminação de pirataria a nível mundial.

Advogado, sócio do Escritório Montaury Pimenta, Machado & Vieira de Mello. Com mais de 10 anos de experiência na área de Propriedade Intelectual, sua prática inclui aconselhar clientes nacionais e estrangeiros em casos relacionados a marcas, patentes, direitos autorais e concorrência desleal.
Tendo atuado em diversos casos complexos de PI perante os tribunais federais e estaduais do Brasil, ele também possui extensa experiência em licensing agreements, medidas de combate à contrafação e disputas de nomes de domínio.
Yuri recebeu seu diploma de pós-graduação em propriedade intelectual da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro em 2016 e concluiu seu mestrado pela The George Washington University (Washington DC) em 2019.
Ele é membro da Seção de Direito da Propriedade Intelectual da American Bar Association (ABA), bem como da International Trademark Association (INTA).
Yuri assists clients from different industry and technology sectors in protecting their most valuable Intellectual Property, with particular emphasis on complex IP litigation. He has over 10 years of experience in the Intellectual Property field and his practice includes counseling domestic and foreign clients in cases related to trademarks, patents, advertisements, copyrights and unfair competition practice.
He has litigated a diverse range of complex IP cases before Brazilian Federal and State courts and has also experience with IP licensing agreements, anti-counterfeiting and boarder measures, and domain name disputes, including Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and Domain Name Dispute Resolution Service for .BR (Saci-Adm) proceedings.
Yuri received his Intellectual Property Postgraduate Degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and obtained an LL.M. degree in IP law from The George Washington University (Washington D.C.) in 2019.
He is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Intellectual Property Law, as well as of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
