The chief economist of Banco BTG Pactual, Eduardo Loyo, is confirmed to attend the opening lecture of ABPI’s 40th International Intellectual Property Congress, which will take place from 19 to 22 October this year. Former executive director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and director of Special Studies at the Central Bank of Brazil, Loyo was also a professor at the Kennedy School of Government (Harvard) and the Department of Economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC- RJ).
For the first time being held in virtual mode, the 40th ABPI Congress will have as its anchor theme “The Role of Intellectual Property in Digital Transformation”.
